About the Company

Repair and Restoration

Here at class6cycles, we prefer to work on classic motorcycles because that's what we know best and do our best work on. If you have an ABS or Engine management light on, we will not be able to help you as we work on carbureted bikes only. Anything from a simple oil or tire change down to a complete tear down and restoration is what we offer.

How We Got Started

What started out as a weekend hobby for Colin Yarrow quickly grew and morphed into a full fledged business with his passion for all things motorcycle.

After continuously working from garages and various storage lockers, demand was constantly growing and he simply ran out of room. When friends, other riders and customers kept calling and dropping off their bikes, Colin decided it was time to take it to the next level and class6cycles was born.

The last piece of inspiration came from a visit to Dreamcycle Motorcycle Museum in Sorrento, BC and meeting the owner. "I couldn't wait to start the business plan for "class6cycles" and wasted no time in opening in North Vancouver shortly after."

His first job was working in a machine shop and grew up around a father that wanted him to learn how mechanical things work put him on this track in life
Like pulling apart mom's clock! Some things went back together smoothly and some things didn't
"We rebuilt our first engine together when I was about 10 years old - a 1980 Honda CR80. I was hooked from then on!!"

"Being an adrenaline junkie teenager - anything from dirt biking, skateboarding to snowboarding was what I needed in my life. Being focussed on athletics kept me out of trouble. While friends were drinking, I was preparing for the next race or competition. This sticks with me now and was why I was able to compete in downhill mountian biking at a world championship level."

It all starts with a passion!!
